I’ve been living in the states for a little under a year and I need to ask, why do so many people keep their shoes on in their homes? Do you do it, why? No confrontation here, just genuinely curious.

The habit of taking them off must carry over into summer with shoes. It’s just always been a thing I was taught to do.

I'm originally from Jamaica where they don't wear shoes that much but I was raised here so sneakers have been my thing all my life.I can understand it being a north thing especially if your out and about where its not always dry.
