Date Posted:03/22/2018 7:55 PMCopy HTML I don't take my shoes off till I'm ready to go to bed. It's always been like that for me.Just in case I have to step back out.Just city life for me.I live in an apartment so its just the streets to me.I don't get comfortable till bed time.Only if its snowing and my boots wet then I take them off as soon as I get in the house.

Taking them off when they get wet is I think why we do it all the time up north. I’m from the prairies where it’s snow 8 months out of the year and our boots are always soaked. The habit of taking them off must carry over into summer with shoes. It’s just always been a thing I was taught to do. |

I'm originally from Jamaica where they don't wear shoes that much but I was raised here so sneakers have been my thing all my life.I can understand it being a north thing especially if your out and about where its not always dry. ![]() |
