Agent Phil Coulsen is back and leading the team. Who else we will see isn't known yet but How could there be S.H.I.E.L.D without Maria Hill  Now she will only make a guest appearance on the pilot or a later show but maybe future episodes as well.She is very important to the organization. That's all the news I have so far on the show  |

Re：The Comic Book Store Date Posted：07/22/2013 12:22 AMCopy HTML Amazing Spiderman 2 should be great I mean I was on the fence about Jamie Foxx playing Electro But after the latest images and footage  He is a great actor so it wasn't about his acting skills,it was about his look but they did a great job on that  But the video makes it all come to life. Now can they deliver a great movie without it going all over the place? Next year it competes against X-Men Days Of A Future Past. |

Re：The Comic Book Store Date Posted：10/13/2013 5:08 AMCopy HTML So after 3 episodes and I meant to make this topic before the premiere but decided to wait it out and see how it went.I like the show so far but its not really connecting to the Marvel universe as strong as it should.Yes I know its not about the super heroes but we need to see some henchmen and low end villains with intros to new super heroes that won't get movie spots.I mean DC can have an Green Arrow show and Flash on the way.They did Smallville for years so they can intro some less than stellar Super Heroes.I know it comes down to the budget.So far we got Maria Hill on the first episode and Nick Fury in the second.The third episode was pretty good.First episode might of been the best and the second episode was pretty predictable.I hope she show does well and better.Its pretty much lukewarm right now but I make sure not to miss it.I'll be back on Tuesday to give a full review of Episode 4.

So who if true will play her? Well Marvel is in talks with Katee Sackhoff  So she might be considered but not too sure yet. Now for Ultron they cast James Spader and since its just his voice then sure but for voices I might of went with Hugo Weaving,yes I know he was Red Skull but so what Well James will do good just cause he is great  |

Re：The Comic Book Store Date Posted：10/17/2013 12:13 AMCopy HTML Last nights Agents Of Shield was no where near Marvel and I'm not sure what is the identity of the show but its still entertaining if your not into the comic books.Now for those that are into the comics then your waiting for that pull to get you going and the show has promise but its just not doing it yet.O.k so to the episode,a former S.H.E.I.L.D Agent went rogue and was doing crimes that resulted in murder but the episode made it seem like she had some kind of super power but she really had something implanted in her eye that made her see through walls and she was really good at combat so that's what made her so valuable.If she failed or didn't listen she would feel a serious pain as it was a fail safe just in case she didn't do what they wanted or got caught.She was basically being controlled.The team had to hack her eye both literally and figuratively as they took control of her feed and had to take her eye out to disconnect the fail safe.They used glasses to mimic the view of the eye and Agent Ward had to wear the glasses while Skye was his other "eyes".I'll keep watching in hopes they start to bring in more Shield Villains otherwise the show will be panned by comic book fans.

Re：The Comic Book Store Date Posted：11/07/2013 1:12 AMCopy HTML Last nights episode of Agents Of Shield was actually really good for a change.Yes I know I skipped about 2 episodes from my last entry but they weren't all that great to talk about.Well Eye Spy was interesting but just about someone being controlled and watched and Girl In The Flower Dress was more about the Centipede plot that they have been working on but I rather see A.I.M or Hydra put into the mix.Give us some more known comic book villains or groups.But last nights episode called F.Z.Z.T dealt with the Chitarui helmet left behind that was a virus.Once infected you are electrified and float in the air.3 Firemen found the helmet and cleaned it off and that's how they got the virus.They didn't survive but as Simmons was examining she contracted the virus.The episode was actually deep and emotional cause the tension of losing one of the cast was there.They even threw in a Shield Agent from the Item 47.To sum it up it got deep.Simmons and Fitz worked on a Vaccine/Serum and Ward had to jump out the jet to save Simmons as she gave up hope and tried to kill herself before finding out that the Vaccine/Serum worked.Now if they could stop mentioning Marvel and actually put Marvel in the show then it has a chance but this episode was the best so far cause it had a lot of heart and the writing was better than usual.Also Coulson touched on the subject of his death and showed his scar from the stab wound.

Re：The Comic Book Store Date Posted：12/28/2013 1:38 PMCopy HTML Its been a while since I made a post about this show.Now I have been watching it but I'm the only one that post about it so no need for me to really talk about it.The show is failing bad and while the mid season finale was actually good the show has a lot to improve on.The show still has nothing to do with Marvel.Maybe a few name drops but that's about it.While I don't watch Arrow I heard its really good in building the DC World by introducing other villains from the comics and even doing origin stories for them.Even though Marvel did have an episode like that,just wasn't enough.But from what I have been reading they will bring in a Iron Man villain.Use the lesser named villains and throw in Justin Hammer.If they can get Sam Rockwell to come on the show then that would be great.For the biggest rating push they could ever have is if they break a deal with Sony and Fox and get clearance to mention X-Men and Spiderman or even Fantastic Four.Great push for Fantastic Four to introduce them to the public early as their movie isn't due out till 2015.Also on the flip side,if these characters from the show don't end up in movies themselves then people will never take them seriously.At least a cameo in Age Of Ultron.

None of them,not saying that they couldn't but unless its Avengers then it would have to be a team up film to work.I would suggest it be Black Panther with Captain America and Shield in the background.But the question is are you looking forward to Batman Vs Superman featuring Wonder Woman? I am but I'm still more of a Marvel fan than DC.So on to Amazing Spiderman 3 and X-Men Apocalypse which I hope they change to Age Of Apocalypse.They both come out in 2016 and maybe in May as well.If they both can build off the success of their upcoming films this year then 2016 looks great for Comic Book fans.So what do we know so far,well there will be a sequel to Guardians Of The Galaxy to be out before Avengers 3 comes out just to get the cosmic side out the way and build on the Infinity Guantlet Saga.A Fantastic Four movie by Fox which I'm not feeling the casting at all.Good actors,terrible casting.Justice League will come out probably in 2018 which would be bad for them cause Avengers 3 is going to crush them.Sorry to say but its basically the battle with Thanos and the Infinity Guantlet.Unless they put Darkseid at the end of Batman Vs Superman ala Avengers/Thanos then there is no build up.We will just have to wait and see.

Re：The Comic Book Store Date Posted：03/03/2014 11:03 PMCopy HTML Ok before I go into more comic book news,I just want to mention my take on some perfect casting for certain roles.I think Kevin Spacey would of been a much better Norman Osborn over Chris Cooper but since I haven't seen the movie so I can't call it.But making him sick was a bad idea.But Kevin Spacey does a really good bad guy and fits Norman Osborn very well.
