Alright we see a lot of great NBA Superstar come in and out in our life time. The question is who are you all-time favorite NBA players....doesn't matter what era....But a true hoops fans know the old school held it down (oh how I miss hand checks and tough defense). LOL

1. Michael Jordan
Come on now as if it would surprise you lol, no need to really explain why he's so great. I tell my sons you guys think Wade, Bryant, and James are great (which they are don't get me wrong), y'all should've seen MJ. Started of as a quick dunker with crazy ball handling, then to come along to get even better by perfecting his fade away jump shots while hardly even diminishing anything else. Won 6 championships (including a record 6 finals MVP) in 8 years (which some believe would have been 8 if not he retired) with 2 different Bulls squads including the unbelievable 72-10 record! Also including 5 NBA MVP, all-time career ppg of 30.12! I will admit that he should have stayed retired after his 6th ring, but he was still one of the best in the league despite his age catching up with him. But all in all I will say what a good friend of mine said about him, "Jordan....Man Jordan was from another planet..." lol

2. Dominique Wilkins
This dude here in my opinion is (not was) the greatest dunker I have ever seen! But he wasn't just all dunks though, he was a well rounded player. He was quick and if you slip up he's gonna take it to the hole without a second thought. lol I envy my mom because she had the honor to meet him while on a cruise, not even knowing who he was...lol. He is also noted in being what is considered the greatest dunk contest between him and MJ.

3. Ervin "Magic" Johnson

His name says it all lol. A 6'9 point guard sounded ridiculous at the time, but Magic put that myth to shame while arriving in the NBA. Excellent ball handling, great shooter, and most of all, tremendous passing skills! With 5 championships under his belt, that's including in his rookie season, there is NO doubt he is among the greatest. A true definition of the word "Play Maker"....

4. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Dude was just flat out dominate, college (went 88-2 with UCLA) AND pro! His post game was near unstoppable, not with powerful dunks, but with his patent sky hook. The way he did it was like art in motion, no one could do it better. 6 championships (5 of those with Johnson), along with a record 6 MVP awards to go along with his historic career. Failed to mention all-time NBA points leader. so many more records he hold but must keep it short. LOL

5. Dennis Rodman
Say what ya want about his antics, but you can't deny, when he's on the court, he does his job, and does it WELL. No he wasn't a great shooter BUT that wasn't his job, DEFENSE was the name of his game. He was fast agile and could grab a rebound faster than you could blink. Not only was he physical he can also get in your head as well, dangerous combo! He's work speaks for itself, he played for a team that is undoubtedly the toughest defensive team ever, the Detroit Pistons, AKA The Bad Boys. Also played with the Spurs but made yet another mark with the Chicago Bulls from 95-98 with 3 straight NBA titles (5 total, 2 with the pistons). As 6'8 PF, some considered his small against other PF's, but don't be fooled because Rodman's rebounding ability was hands down the best in years if not EVER! He led the league in rebounding for a NBA record 7 straight years, with a career average of 13.1 rpg (career high 18.7 rpg in a season!), he also holds many other records as well. Also considered the best defensive PF ever! patiently waiting on his Hall of Fame bid....

Honorable mentions: Scottie Pippen, Larry Bird, and Isaiah Thomas.

Now that was mine, who are your all-time faves? A NO you DON'T have to go into detail.... LOL

1. Shawn Kemp

When I first started watching basketball this guy  did great things in his prime.
Sonics was my first team because of him. When his carrer ended he started to gain weight.
Didnt when no championships, but made it to the finals. They didnt call him the reign man for nothing.
2.Clyde Drexler

Dude could jump out the building, and could make a big impact on any team.
Just enjoyed his play, and watching him.
3. Shaquille Oneal

One of the best centers to play the game. Just sign with the veteren Celtic squad.
Remember when he broke the whole rim down. I remember when they start fouling him
because he couldn't make free throws. (hack a shaq) He was dominate and still remains a threat
when in good shape.
4.Lebron James

Can't wait to see him and D Wade, its going to be great. Just a all around player
and has eveything you would want to ad to ur B-Ball game.
In his prime, surrounding himself with talent is going to be good.
5. Kobe Bryant

This guy is one of a kind. Im always watching and wondering what he's going to do next. Sometimes I hate to see him win. Thats because he's so great. Cant really compare him to MJ. But he's a champion and thats all what matters.

Ok. I'm invading the Man Cave on this question since I've been a NBA fan since I was in the womb.

1. Kareem Abdul-Jabbarr (must put a Laker first)

2. Wilt Chamberlain

3. Isiah Thomas

4. James Worthy / Lary Bird (its a tie for this one)

5. Mike Jordan (didn't like him but the man could play)

Man, Lebron's not even that baddest mutha on his own team right now. Shaq is top ten center along with Wilt and Hakeem but Bill anchored those championship squads. No point ever has done what Magic did. I hated Jordan too but his will to win is unmatched along with the unparallel skills. Tim Duncan is one of the baddest forwards out. He's consistent and could you imagine him along side Bill Russell. Add The Big O and man you can't go wrong.

Bill Russell (C)
Magic Johnson (PG)
Michael Jordan (SG)
Tim Duncan (F)
Oscar Roberston (F)

Hmmmm this is a tough one but here goes.

Center-Wilt nuff said
Forward - Bill Russel (maybe the best defender ever)
Forward - Bird (one of the best clutch shooters)
Guard - MJ (most competitive player I ever seen play) his stats and record speak for itself and oh yeah he could play D also.....lol
Guard -Pete Marivich (best ball handler I ever seen and he could shoot lights out) too bad he didn't get to play long in the pros he was stockon long before stockon came along

yeah I could have said Kareem, Magic, Isiah, Shaq, Duncan, Kobe and some others we have to remember some hall of famers/ great players never won rings so I didn't take that into consideration look at Malone, Barkley, Dominique, Ewing, Reggie, Iverson and other great players......lol
