One of the biggest obstacles black people have is each other.Europeans have been taking advantage of that for centuries and we til this day can't come together and get ahead.Now I'm not going to say we are the only problem but we aren't helping with making it any better.Look how we kill each other in the streets.Chicago is just terrible with that.Africans don't like us Afrucan-Americans and for what.We don't come together to grow while other nationalities come together and stick together.Example Jews and Chinese.We have to do better and even tho its a White Man's world we have to come together and built ourselves up like they did.Doubt that we would ever be equal and that's not our fault by any means but we must do better.

When it comes down to it We are the one race that lets jealousy rule us.We always have to be flashy and can't be happy for one another.I find it amazing that Jews can stick together and make money and not worry about what the next family has.See with them it's about wealth and they strive to be lawyers and landlords.Not saying that regular Caucasians don't feel a certain type of way about each other but they know they have a better chance of obtaining what they want than African Americans.I have to make a difference cause regular Africans just dont like us.They feel that we have no connection to them and have it better than them but Africa itself should be doing well with all the natural resources they have but Africans don't profit off of it.Which is something they have to work out on their own.But can't come together and do.We are easily manipulated and always taken advantage of and that has to stop.As fictional as Wakanda is,its how things should be in African countries.Using the resources that the land provides and making a living off of it.Look at Dubai for example.They made their wealth off of oil for years and realized that the oil would eventually run out and decided to make it into a luxurious tpurist trap.Who doesn't want to go to Dubai.Just like Las Vegas.Name a place in Africa that you have to see.Yes you can say Egypt but realistically its about what you are going to see and not what your going to do.Also the Sheiks are the ones making the money over there.Not like Montego Bay in Jamaica where the resort money doesn't help out the rest of the island.We have to do better but we need go come together first.Stop the backstabbing.We will never get ahead that way.

Not to sound racist....but white people were and really notorious for putting a wedge between black people.They know we are jealous and envious of each other and need them to get ahead in the world so they use that to their advantage.Now I don't want to use that as an excuse on why we can't get ahead cause the reality is we should be able to get ahead.We need to start owning out own stuff and making our own stuff.Not saying that we have to be separated from everyone else but we need to take care of out community ourselves.That is why I wouldn't mind if we did something in Africa and build it up.

They don't want to admit that they are wrong and not really them but their ancestors were wrong but at the same time had no choice.See they couldn't fight back against the colonizers cause they didn't have time to fight back.They are foolish and ashamed.While I said a while back that we need to make Africa great.They wouldn't allow that and its a shame.As much natural resources Africa has but the Africans aren't profiting off of it.That has to change.We should unite but we can't think like that to do it.We are too western for them and corrupted by the white man to be considered to be on their level and that plays right into the reason why we can't get ahead.Too much jealousy and envy.To them its like we abandoned them but look how they treat their women.That is also another reason they don't want us to mingle cause they don't want their women to realize their worth.They also believe that we are too lazy and will bring them down.We can both learn from each others cultures.But we hate on each other for no reason.

What makes you envious of the next person? What makes you jealous of the next person?What makes you so defensive to the next person.Do we constantly stab each other in the back.why do we have trust issues.Now this isn't just a black thing but a people thing.A society problem but you do find that black people go through this more.I really should say people of color.Is it that since we are on top of each other is why we act that way?Do we just need space? I don't think so.I do believe as a society that we are evolving and devolving.I'll quickly explain.We are advancing as a human race but we are also becoming more lazy and everything is automatic and robotic.But the hate is still there.Why is it though.How come we can't evolve from the hate?

 I think it's the culmination of degradation, manipulation, and humiliation due to slavery, racism, and corruption by a system more than 400 years old designed to make us an underclass. We have lost our knowledge of our inner worth and have tried to replace it with material things. I hope this will not be the case, but it may take 400 years or more to undo the damage done to us.

Great points. This is so true. It seems like its going to take some more generations just to get everyone on the same page ans reverse from all this trauma. As long as America doesn't  get it some of us will. never heal

As I had this conversation earlier today only because a friend asked me what I thought about the Royal Wedding and I really didn't have any opinion about it.It was ok to me but my friend from Australia said to me "Awww but she is one of you" and I was like wtf.What does that have to do anything and why would you say it like then then it made me realize that even if your mixed white people brand you black right off the back.And black people don't always accept half white and half black people with open arms.So where do they fit in at?

 Yayy ok the wedding and the Blackness at the Royal Wedding. I have to say I was glad to see it.  I watched it with my Mom. I mean it was history in the making. Bi-racial folks  and the plight of not being black enough and not being white enough either.I was proud because a black woman had married into royalty and was making history, but even more so their love was infectious like bomb ass love. But back to Black lol literally.. I think we are raised with this competition mentality and we tend to associate materialistic things with wealth (never let em see you sweat).

See I never treated Obama as if he was less than black.He was all black to me and his wife was all the way black but she got treated bad by "them" especially on Twitter.As far a Meghan Markle goes she is a shade darker than Rashida Jones and if you never told me who her dad was I would never known she was half black.I have no issue with mixed people.I don't care and the truth is no one has a choice on what race they are.It is all on how they are as a person that matters and the truth is there are a lot of fucked people out there.Black people need to support each other.But we don't cause we have this mentality to be jealous and envious of each other.We don't support each other at all.

When looked at it that way it is a great moment for black history cause it is history.The white side of her has always been in history so they don't care but once you have any black in your you are now black and that's it.We should accept them as us cause they don't accept them as one of them.

As a Black woman I see negativity everyday from other Black women..We need to do better as mothers raising our children to respect people and treat them like we wanna be treated, fairly..The system is set up for Black folk to fail and we will continue to do so until we learn how to treat each other..

Great topic, I wish we could all get along just to much pettiness. We have post saying we will trade one for a caucasion. Hate and Ignorance just don't make since. Looks have became a big thing for us. When most of are ancestor came from the same struggle. What ever happen to lifting a brother or a sister up. I guess back then we use to be all we had. Now it just doesn't seem to matter. Sometime I feel like the most black hated one out there. Never get know invites no where. Had to get online just to find a group of people to hang with. Chicago right now is crazy, glad I don't live there would of been shot.

Im posting this here because  afro latino/latina is real regardless of those who try to deny. It has been made very clear if u have a sprinkling of black in you you are black. Our genetic contributions and make ups pretty much dominate. Some still struggle to identify with blacks. I have known latinos to even be racist. I wonder how they feel now that they see whites in America dont give a FUCK about you. Look whats happening to yall. Babies being separated just because parents trying to give them a better life over here. Pregnant latino women denied care which has resulted in miscarriges. I have also though black and bown ppl need to band together and stop the division. I dont have a problem with any race of people but its obvious others do.

Would be nice but you call a Puerto Rican Dominican and they catch the only attitude.So they feel even worse about Mexicans.Same goes for Jamaicans and Haitians.Don't mix them up.I almost did the same thing the other day when this Haitian asked if I was Haitian and me being Jamaican was like HELL NO!!! Then I realized how bad it sound and felt like I offended him too.So we all have to do better.Just like them.

They don't want to admit that they are wrong and not really them but their ancestors were wrong but at the same time had no choice.See they couldn't fight back against the colonizers cause they didn't have time to fight back.They are foolish and ashamed.While I said a while back that we need to make Africa great.They wouldn't allow that and its a shame.As much natural resources Africa has but the Africans aren't profiting off of it.That has to change.We should unite but we can't think like that to do it.We are too western for them and corrupted by the white man to be considered to be on their level and that plays right into the reason why we can't get ahead.Too much jealousy and envy.To them its like we abandoned them but look how they treat their women.That is also another reason they don't want us to mingle cause they don't want their women to realize their worth.They also believe that we are too lazy and will bring them down.We can both learn from each others cultures.But we hate on each other for no reason.

What makes you jealous of the next person?What makes you so defensive to the next person.Do we constantly stab each other in the back.why do we have trust issues.Now this isn't just a black thing but a people thing.A society problem but you do find that black people go through this more.I really should say people of color.Is it that since we are on top of each other is why we act that way?Do we just need space? I don't think so.I do believe as a society that we are evolving and devolving.I'll quickly explain.We are advancing as a human race but we are also becoming more lazy and everything is automatic and robotic.But the hate is still there.Why is it though.How come we can't evolve from the hate?

I have to say I was glad to see it. I watched it with my Mom. I mean it was history in the making. Bi-racial folks and the plight of not being black enough and not being white enough either. I was proud because a black woman had married into royalty and was making history, but even more so their love was infectious like bomb ass love. But back to Black lol literally.. I think we are raised with this competition mentality and we tend to associate materialistic things with wealth (never let em see you sweat).

See I never treated Obama as if he was less than black.He was all black to me and his wife was all the way black but she got treated bad by "them" especially on Twitter.As far a Meghan Markle goes she is a shade darker than Rashida Jones and if you never told me who her dad was I would never known she was half black.I have no issue with mixed people.I don't care and the truth is no one has a choice on what race they are.It is all on how they are as a person that matters and the truth is there are a lot of fucked people out there.Black people need to support each other.But we don't cause we have this mentality to be jealous and envious of each other.We don't support each other at all.

When looked at it that way it is a great moment for black history cause it is history.The white side of her has always been in history so they don't care but once you have any black in your you are now black and that's it.We should accept them as us cause they don't accept them as one of them.

We have post saying we will trade one for a caucasion. Hate and Ignorance just don't make since. Looks have became a big thing for us. When most of are ancestor came from the same struggle. What ever happen to lifting a brother or a sister up. I guess back then we use to be all we had. Now it just doesn't seem to matter. Sometime I feel like the most black hated one out there. Never get know invites no where. Had to get online just to find a group of people to hang with. Chicago right now is crazy, glad I don't live there would of been shot.
